Tanq,
Attached sample image for your reference. Normally when a stock pullback or is on consolidation mode, I like to see if there are block buying as this gives me an indication that there are big buyers coming in. The inverse works the same but in this context it gives me an indication that BB is running road. Do note BB likes to accumulate at the low and sell at the high which is the opposite of what public do. We cannot play like them but we try to follow their activities.
Those block buy ups cannot be the work of retailers as they do not have such big fund. Do note that it does not mean that by following their activities, we will be guaranteed of profits. Always exercise caution and set your stop loss at a comfortable level. BB may be wrong also as they are fighting against one another.
If we are right, we will benefit from the trade as we bought on the low. If we are wrong, just cut when the stop loss triggered. So far, some of my profitable trades like NOL, Yoma, FirstRes, SuperGroup are based on such analysis.
I am trying to incorporate Runner's buy/sell queue analysis to improve on my trading experience also. Maybe he can share some knowledge in that area.

Jan 29, 2013; 12:12pm maruikun maruikun Runner's sharing :
another sign I look at is the price range. usually when price go up 1 -2 pips, you see seller coming in to force the price back down to where the BB want to cumulate but then the price will not fall further as the BB also support the price to ensure price dun drop too much.
once they done enough.. all the sudden the seller queue disappear and the price has a breakout. the time frame depend so you need to monitor..

Another example of block buy ups. Definitely not the work of retailer.

Feb 07, 2013; 2:21pm maruikun maruikun Infinitee,
I don't really have any exact info on that and its all just based on my own trial & error. I used to execute trades on penny stocks and noticed my trades are reflected at the same timing on the Time & Sales window. This leads me to think that such trade belongs to the same buyer. I might be wrong in understanding that block buying within the same timing belongs to the same buyer as I can't find any info from Google. So please take my comments with a pinch of salt. Cheers
From Runner's reply :
Maruik.. I think you can assume this way but sometime 1 order can be split into different transactions appearing in the sales.. need to notice the timing.. usually they are the same especially during a sell down

thanks, xing Feb 23, 2013; 12:13pm maruikun maruikun Hi-P appear on my volume scan. Zooming down on the Time & Sales can see some unusual activities. Seems to be systematic buying by some player. Current chart is on a downtrend and forming a good support base. This is not a buy call.
